The recent announcement of a $100 million program to bring ‘DeFi to the People’ in form of educational grants and incentives on top of the platform continues to attract interest within this growing ecosystem. One of the key startups is Murcom, a software technology company heardquartered in Kampala, Uganda specializing in software development, fintech, digital KYC, and financial inclusion. Murcom also runs the MUDA exchange and OTC desk available in East Africa and across 10 African markets. Muda also runs an NFT marketplace and currently working with the Uganda National Museum to mint NFT collections of the best artifacts from the museum.
